Description
Black and white image of the outside of the Women's building at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. The photo is taken from a distance with grass and a water front between the camera and the building. The Building is the focus of the picture and it takes up a majority of the photo, showing how large and intricate the design is. There are tents and chairs set up outside the building for people to sit by the water front. The building is made up of columns and arches with statues on the roof, the outline of the statues are visible but they actual statues are hard to make out in the photo. At the bottom of the image there is a caption, "WOMAN'S BUILDING."
