KSU MGC
MGC is one of four Greek councils at Kennsaw State University and consists of three sororities and four fraternities. MGC made it to KSU in 2009 with the introduction of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Epsilon Alpha Chapter and Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Gamma Rho Chapter. Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Beta Sigma Chapter was chartered in 2015 and that same year the KSU MGC was established. La Unidad Latina Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Delta Beta Chapter and Sigma Lambda Upsilon Senoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Alpha Phi Chapter would follow in 2019. The most recent additions were Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Beta Psi Chapter in 2022 and Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Kennesaw Collective in 2023.
The MGC forms a big part of student activites at KSU specifically for diverse students. By having all member organizations promote their events, they can garner an extremely diverse pool of students. Starting with their participation at the annual Week of Welcome Yard Show, MGC collaborates with the NPHC to spread the message and significance of stepping and strolling to a wider audience. Throughout the year they host a variety of events that promote diversity, promote the member organizations, and allow for a free exchange of ideas.
