Personal Reflections

I believe I speak for my entire group when I say that covering the subject of the enslaved people took a personal toll on us. Reading what few primary sources we could find from the point-of-view of the enslaved was disheartening. Slavery was, and still is to this day, the blight of humanity. We hope that through this exhibit that at least one person will be educated on the history of slavery in the United States and Morocco and learn something from it.
